Patricia Vázquez Mercado Herrera
Paty leads the development of parent training programs at Kinich School. She is a Mexican pedagogue specialized in public education, she is currently Director of International Cooperation at Radix Education, responsible for promoting and articulating international alliances with different actors with the aim of promoting reflections, conversations and best practices for the benefit of education in Mexico.
She worked as a member of the Board of the Instituto Nacional para la Evaluación de la Educación (INEE). She was Secretary of Public Education of the State of Puebla and has held various functions in international organizations and civil society for more than 15 years.
She has been an independent consultant with various civil organizations in Mexico related to education, empowerment and social gaps.
Patricia is currently pursuing a Master’s in International Educational Policy at Harvard University’s Graduate School of Education. She has a degree in Pedagogy from the Universidad Panamericana (UP), has a Diploma in Public Policies for Social Development in Mexico from the Center for Economic Research and Teaching (CIDE), a specialty in Global Governance from the German Institute for the Development (DIE) and a Master’s Degree in Comparative Public Policies from the Latin American Faculty of Social Sciences (FLACSO).
